Intro to Mountain Biking

In partnership with Lil'wat Nation Recreation and the Pemberton Off Road Cycling Association

Discover the thrill of mountain biking on Líl̓wat Nation territory with the Líl̓wat Recreation x PORCA “Intro to Mountain Biking” program.

Designed for kids ages 8 to 13, this program takes place at the Mountain Bike Skills Park at Den Duyf Park. More than just learning to ride, participants will build confidence, develop foundational mountain bike skills, foster a love for adventure, learn about responsible recreation, and connect with the community.

The “Intro to Mountain Biking” program is open to Beginner and Intermediate riders only. Participants will receive six sessions offered in a spring block and fall block of skill development led by experienced PORCA coaches and mentors from the Líl̓wat community. Participants can sign up for 3 session blocks or for one at a drop-in.
