The Family Halloween Mountain Bike Ride is a free self-guided adventure for everyone in the community! Dress up in a (bike-safe) spookatcular costume and ride Thuja Plicata and Piece of Cake with Halloween decorations along the way.

The trails will decorated and set-up for riding from 12 pm - 2 pm. Come at any time during that interval. Groups (max 8 people) will be sent in 5 minute intervals to ride the one-way trail up the Sea to Sky Trail. Dependant on ability level, participants can either go down Thuja Plicata or continue on the Sea to Sky Trail to Overhill and down Piece of Cake and Thuja Plicata. Riders will finish at the bottom of Thuja Plicata where a volunteer will be stationed with a table, chair and hand sanitizer. Upon completion, kids will receive a goodie bag to take home.

Covid-19 Safety Plan:

• Volunteers at the top of each trail will remind participants to respect physical distancing, wear a mask when they cannot, use proper hand hygiene and ride within their limits

• Groups will be limited to 8 people

• Groups will be spaced at 5 minute intervals

• Trails will be signed one-way

• Participant will be reminded that this is a self-guided ride and groups should be self- sufficient
