One Mile Lake Zone and Bear Spray Workshop!
This Wednesday the WildSafeBC SLRD Coordinator will be hosting a (by donation) bear spray workshop at 7pm One Mile Lake Park. This is a great opportunity to educate yourself on bear safety and to gain experience practicing using bear spray.
If possible, participants should bring a belt and a holster for using the inert practice bear spray. The workshop will be about 1 hour long after our rides in the One Mile Lake Zone.
Begintermediates, Intermediates and Advanced wanting to do the bear spray workshop meet at 6:15 this week at One Mile Lake Beach - we will ride Fizzy Pop Dog Beach or Pickle.
Please remember to bring a $5-10 recommended donation to cover the cost of the practice bear spray canisters. Trailforks - https://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/planner/view/149533/
If you are not interested in the bear spray workshop and are an Advanced rider, please meet at One Mile Lake Beach at 6:00 pm and you can choose your own adventure as a group - maybe Pioneer or Breakaway.
